This windscreen is designed exclusively for the CMIT 5 U shotgun microphones. It consists of an outer "basket (Rycote-Size "Kit 3")," an elastic suspension and a "Connbox" with a very thin, pliable cable so that the suspension will be fully effective in isolating the microphone from solid-borne noise. An angled XLR plug allows a very short basket for this microphone.
