Sennheiser HME 26 closed and supra-aural headsets are lightweight and excel in TV and Radio studio applications, with the headphones designed for high maximum SPL. They offer excellent wearing comfort in combination with good noise attenuation. All variants of HME 26 for Broadcast are equipped with ActiveGard, which protects the user from volume peaks. The cardiod condenser microphone provides superb acoustic performance and ensures linear frequency response. The gooseneck microphone can be used either on left or right-hand side. The microphone boom allows for individual adjustment at the right position. This version, the HME26-600(4)-XQ, offers 600 Ohm stereo impedance, and a 3-foot steel cable with 1/4 inch jack and XLR- 3 connector.
